Description This is an old fireplace and mantle that we found in an old garage. it has beautiful craftwork. The only markings on it say Pat July 19 1892. The Monarch 1150 24 It's beautiful and we don't know if we should keep it or get rid of it.....

I also have The Monarch Pat July 1892. It is loaded with rust and I am wondering how to liberate it. I am wondering if this was common or if it is now considered rare.
