Print of HMS Winchester, by W.J.Huggins

Description This is a print by W.J. Huggins,Marine Painter to his Majesty, 1830, engraved by E. Duncan, of the HMS Winchester. not sure when the print was made but the inscription below the print states "To Edward Griffith Colpoys Esq,Vice Admiral of the White. This Plate of the HMS Winchester is respectfully dedicated by Capt. C. J. Austen and the Officers of that ship" I believe Admiral Colpoys nominated Capt. Austen to command the Winchester in 1830 - 1831. so I suspect this Plate is approx. that old as I suspect it was a gratitude from Austen for the promotion. It is in good condition.
