WWI binoculars

Description These binoculars belonged to my uncles father. He was an officer and belonged to the Rough Riders. My aunt said that he was present at San Juan Heights in Cuba and had these glasses with him. But I am not sure about that. I know he was a Rough Rider, but I am not sure he ever left Tampa. I also dont know how he aquired these glasses, especially since they say 'Royal Air Force' and have a drawing of a bi-plane.

What would these be worth? I have a pair like them without the case.
