11 piece dining room furniture set

Description I have done some research, I found the Deinzer family in the 2nd half of the 19th century in Detroit. The Union Furniture Co. was founded in 1876 by Swedish immagrants. I would like to know how much the set is worth. My mom says its alot, dad says not alot...Im in the middle. About, 20 years ago mom had the chairs recovered and re-stained, the guy doing the work offered $1000.00.(that is why mom says alot) The original fabric is still on the chairs..it is a dark green, possibly velvet. 3 leafs, 5 chairs, 1 arm chair, buffet, table. Any info would be great, Thanks
