mystery mid century style wood set of sticks??? maybe kitchen, dining, or decorative

Description Would like to know what these would be used for and what value they'd have now. the widest end is not entirely flat. Doesn't seem like they'd be used in cooking or bartending as they're wood. but have no idea what else they might have been used for - and my relative has died.
