Description English Regency period mantle, or bracket, clock. By Thwaites & Reed, Clerkenwell, London, ca. 1830. Classic Grecian architectural design in mahogany veneer and fine brass inlaid decoration, Sphrinx pediment, brass side pulls, carved quarter colums terminationg in Corinthian caps. Eight-day brass movement with hour strike.
