Anything by " Royal Doulton " generally post dates 1901. King Edward awarded the first Royal Warrant to Doulton in 1901. The Doulton Company then became The "Royal Doulton" Company. The "D" numbers are date marks, the Hampshire plate dates from the mid to late 1930's the Chatham plate from about 1930.
