Description this kimono was given as a gift to the wife of a prominant businessman whos business was boat and boat motor sales. she was told that it was very valuable at the time it was given. it may be for sale but she mostly wants to know all information on the value and description. it is very heave weighing at over 10lb and is made of gold and silver threading over silk. the picture is of some type of bird that wraps completely around the garment. it is a beutiful piece and has never been worn by her. ther are tassles with a flower attached at the shulders on the front and back of the kimono. pictures really do not do this piece justice but they are attached for reference. any information is greatly appreciated.
