Description KNICKERBOCKER IS A NAME MOST ASSOCIATED WITH NEW YORK. SAMUEL SMITH WAS A BREWER FROM 1844 WHO MADE EARLY SODAS, MINERAL WATERS, AND ALE. ONLY A FEW OF THE BOTTLES WERE EMBOSSED WITH HIS INITIALS IN ADDITION TO THE KNICKERBOCKER NAME. THIS BOTTLE IS MARKED S. S. KNICKERBOCKER 1845. IT SEEMS TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH THE BULBOUS TOP . ORIGINAL DRIP MARKS. THE BOTTLE MEASURES APPROX. 9.5 HIGH (INCLUDING CORK) X 4 1/4 WIDE.. PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE PICTURES.
