chair

Description Picked this chair up recently from an estate sale. There appears to be a burl inlay on the sides and the nails appear to be hand made. No idea what the history of the chair is. Interested in any info that others may have about the style, era, value, etc. Thanks in advance!

It's a walnut Victorian chair in the Renaissance Revival style. The style is not currently popular compared to what it was in the 1980's and values are in decline. What you paid at auction is about what they go for on the block these days, under $100.00
