These slate type mantel clocks were mass produced pieces, made during the turn of the 19th century until WW1, but look older than they really are because they are patterned after early 19th Century French Empire Clocks. The Adamantine Clock by Seth Thomas was patented in 1880, but was still in production post 1900. Click the link below for current values:
