Hey I have the same exact secretary.  Did you find out anything about it?  I got it from my mother who got it from her mom and dad.  They bought it used in I would say the late 1930's to early 1940's.  I just had my refinished and got it back today.  Looks great!  I don't want to sell mine either.  Too nice.  Thanks!  Marianne

I have the same secretary and would like to sell it.  Can someone tell me what a fair price would be?  It has not been refinished but all the locks work fine and it is not too scuffed except the inside desk shows wear.  Please give me an approximate amount.

Desks like this are reproductions of American Federal and Colonial style examples and tend to date from the mid 1920's through 1940's. Values are all over the map for them depending on quality, current condition and the maker. generally at auction one like this would go for under $400.00, we retail them in very good condition for about $800.00.
