Antique Signal Cannon. Manufacturer Schuyler.Hartley & Graham. N.Y. Name is stamped on rear of barrel. Mid to late 1800's. Signal cannon believed to be used to start Yacht races on the Grat Lakes

History My Dad was a family Doctor in the area for many years. In his early days of practice, he had a nurse, Sarah Jane Schuyler Emerson, who worked for him. her Dad, Wally Schuyler, Who lived with her family was either ill or became ill and eventually passed away. the family then gave the cannon to my Dad for whatever reasons.
