1930s odd lighter

Description i've been trying to find some history on it,but so far no one has seen one ,i cant find it in books or on the internet.Just like to know if possibly from small war party,or just convenience it being there,there are no house close to were i found it,so please any information would be great.And thanks to anyone that will look at it.Everything is there just needs flint and fluid to work,and it does work,i have tried it.

History I found it in a field on top of a mountain 25 years ago,it looks like a rock,but its a cigarette lighter
Price Paid (If known) found in field ,i picked it up thinking it was an odd rock
