Description

This Document was found in the Modave Castle in Liege, Belgium during WWII and brought to the USA. It is in very good condition and dated 1427. The document's subject is the Gand Modave.

The language is possibly either old French or Belgium/Waloon.

History My mother was in the Red Cross and “rescued,” it from American soldiers, rummaging through the Chateau/Castle Modave in Liege Belgium, shortly after it was liberated from the Nazis. It is dated 1427. I have sent the images attached herein it to the Chateau Modave Museum. (http://www.modave-castle.be/Anglais/Intro.html)
