The Mystery of the Oriental Vase

Description

Bought a vase with oriental stamp/mark on bottom with nothing in English.  Was hoping to get a language, country of origin, translation, etc.  Vase looks newer, condition is above average to excellent.  Design is painted on top of white glazing and is in excellent condition.  There is a small spot on lip of vase where the gold highlight has been rubbed off or was not properly applied.

It's Chinese, the mark looks to be that of Jiaqing (1796-1821), but Chinese marks are notoriously unreliable. Most like this are 20th century pieces.
