Description

Domed wood chest or trunk w/metal straps. Interior is plain linen. I love this piece but I have no idea if it is really from 1730 or just a decorative piece. I can't look at the inside wood work without removing the linen. I would appreciate any information about chests from that time period - its function - it has a very sturdy lock and key.
