Japanese? Chinese? Silk Tiger Painting

Description

Can anyone identify this painting and or artist? It is in an old frame with a wooden back to the frame. The painting looks like oil on silk. Not sure if it is Japanese or Chinese. I bought it at a county auction for my 7 year old son. His room is full of Tiger pictures. I got looking at it and can't help but wonder if it may be worth anything. It could put Luke through college. If not please be gentle with us, first timers.

Thanks for your help!

I have a tiger similar to this in bamboo frame, it was brought back from Okinawa Japan during WW2.  My uncle gave it to my grandmother.   I took a picture of it and compared, it is the same signature same artist, just no occupied stamp.  I do not know what it is worth, if you get any information please let me know.
