This looks like a print of the actual painting and is framed in a large gold frame.  It was purchased at a local auction and I would like to know more about the print and it's worth.

I have this picture too. Thanks to you I now know the title.What I have learned about the artist, Bennett Bradbury: He is best known as a California painter and painted pictures of clowns. A listed artist, I just have researched anymore. My picture is in a more ornate frame
