serpent/eagle chair

Description

this black, carved wood chair was bought by my parents in 1971 for $95. i don't know much about it, but it has a very distinctive carving of an eagle attacking a sea serpent for a back. it has a few small chips, but otherwise, is in pretty good condition. it's not very comfortable, so it probably never got used much. the receipt describes it as an "Oriental Chair".
