 You should definitely have it evaluated by an expert in pre-columbian pottery. Though I have to say, my instincts tell me it's probably not mayan, most of the south american examples of figures of this kind that I've seen are far more detailed, and, stylistically don't really look like this, I would have thought it may be from a north american culture based on the style of the headdress and robe the figure is wearing, but without being able to evaluate it in person it's impossible to tell for sure what it is, or what it may be worth.
