Japanese tea set

Appraisal complete
Description

This is a tea set, Japanese in origin, that is in my mums collection. It has 6 of everything - cups, saucers, plates, and a milk jug and sugar bowl. About 10 years ago someone looked at it and estamated the value at about $700 (or R5000 in South Africa). We need to know its value and history! It as the words 'marraige memorial' on the bottom with a japanese stamp (at least I think its japanese!).
