Square Porcelain Enamel Heating Press/Device~Electrical w Cord~Vintage!

Description

Electrical, came with a cord, and although the cord is marked 'replacement' it fits.  Top lifts up and slides back and rests.  Looks like some sort of sandwich press, but I've never seen or heard of a vintage press.  I'm mostly interested in what it is so I can list it on eBay, although an appraisal of sorts would be nice.

Thanks much!

These early appliances from the first quarter of the 20th century are more of a curiosity than valuable collectibles, there are some that collect them, but the demand for them is modest. I have one like it I still used for grilled cheese sandwiches ;~) Most I've seen sell for under $50.00.
