Black Elephant Bank

Category
Other
Condition
Fair
Description

My wife and I acquired this item a few years ago from her grandmother who recently passed. She remembers having seen it at her grandmother's home as a child. From what she could gather it has been in her family for a very long time. I looked inside it with a flashlight and pulled scraps of newspaper from the 1930's. Other than it being in the family for a few generations, we know next to nothing about it or where it came from. We would greatly appreciate it if we could get some kind of information as to possibly who and where it was made. Thank you.

Modernage Sewing Machine

Category
Vintage Textiles and Clothing
Description

This was my great grandmothers sewing machine that she had hidden among her things in her home. I don't know much about it other than what it says on it, so any information would be helpful. It is a Modernage Super Deluxe Precision sewing machine. And sine it's color is more of a sea foam green i assume it is from the 50's. The only thing i could find that resembled a model number was on the bottom and it was 76866T6.

Marble Sculture

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

Hello: I received this statue as an inheritance when my father passed away. I would like to know about what it is worth since I am moving and might try to sell it.  It weighs about 80lbs and is about 24-30 inches tall. It was purchased at an auction, and I do not know where or when. I think it is marble but I am not certain. It is definitely some sort of hand-carved stone and. Is very heavy.  It has gotten a little beat up over the years, but overall not too bad of shape.  Can you give me some sort of idea what it is worth? Thank you.  Jim Seidel 305-877-4494South Florida
