Category

Description

I have a photo of the end of the trail scultpure that was taken by Cardinell Vincent Co. from San Fran.  There is a Cardinell Vincent Co stamp in the bottom right corner.  There is also the number 2800 written near the bottom left corner (Hard to see though).  The sculpture is white and there is a brown background.  The photo is 11in. x 14in. Just wondering how much it might be worth.

Framed folk art

Category
Fine Art
Condition
Good
Description

I don't know much about these two little framed needle work pieces.  It appears to be old fabric with a design "painted" on it with hand stitch work around the images.  Certain parts like the apron, man's chest and woman's skirt are raised like there is some sort of stuffing behind it.  They are both marked with #4281 and there is a little piece of masking tape on the back of both of them that says 7-38.  Which I'm thinking means July 1938.   I found them at a thrift store and could tell they were old and I thought they were unique.  I'd be interested in any information you can give me about them and an idea of value.

Thank you!

Lynn

This piece was given to me by an older gentleman who said it was from the 1800's and very valuable. Looks like a napkin holder or some type of tabletop decorative piece. The base is marble with 10 seashells on the base.

Eversharp Scissors Box Set "The New Yorker" 24k Plated 1951

Category
Other
Condition
Excellent
Description

The scissors are a boxset of four from The ACME shear company. The name of the brand is Eversharp. I found an ad from a magazine which is apparently from 1951. The scissors are 24k gold plated and were $29.99 originally. The scissors are labeled "Forgedsteel USA." They're in a leather case lined with gold and green felt. The scissors and case look nearly untouched and are in great condition.

Porcelain Hawks from Tilso

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Excellent
Description

My father has two porcelain hawks sitting on rocks from Tilso. I have searched and searched the web and have not been able to find anything close to them. He is curious about what the value may be even if its $2.00 just because they were his grandmothers. They have no markings on them other then the company and says hand-painted. They are gold and silver looking and the color kinda fades between the two as you turn them around as well as a black tone around the rocks and the bottom of the birds. The figures stand around 7-10 inches tall. I have looked and looked and had other people to look for these figurines and have come up emptied handed. Any possible information on them would be greatly appreciated.
