Germany Pewter Goblets

Category
Metalware
Condition
Good
Description

The two German Pewter goblets (not sure if they are goblets) are in very good condition.  They appear to be very old.  Other than that I do not know anything else about these.

Short Sword??

Category
Militaria
Condition
Good
Description

I was told that this item was very, very old. The sheath is made of wood, covered in snakeskin, with brass accents. There are stars carved out of the brass. There used to be jewels on each side. There are places with a symbol that looks like an "S" with a dot in each curve of the letter. Any info about this item would be helpful.

carved wooden desk

Category
Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

This desk is solid wood, I do not know the type but may be mahogany.  It has hand carvings of the flor-de-lys around the sides and on the drawers.  The handles are metal with a spiral feature and secured with screws from the inside.  The drawers are not dovetailed but may be secured with dowels.  The bottom beam is fitted through both end supports(legs) and secured with a dowel on the outside of each end support.  The desk is rustic looking and has a spanish feel to it, however this may be because I obtained this desk in South Florida and has been with me for about 12 years. It is in excellent shape other than typical wear and tear from age and usage.
