Beautiful Woven Silk Picture of "The Summer Palace" in Beijing. I'm interested in finding more info and possible appraisal. Purchased at an Estate Sale aprx 2001.
This box of card is from the Metropolitan Museum of Art by Dutch Artist Jan Van de Velde. Box of 16 cards with etchings by the artist. They measure 7" x 5 1/4". They are in excellent condition. I would like to know how much they are worth.
This is a wood carving done by the famous wood carver Junior Cobb who lived in Arkansas and died in 2011. I'm hoping somone else can tell me more about this item, the artist and value. I was excited to see that he incribed his full name into the bottom of this piece as I found out through my research that many times he only inscribed JRC and the fact that he was completely illiterate other than being able to recognize his own name made this wood carving even more interesting to me. I am hoping somone can tell me more about it and if it is worth any money.
I have 2 sculptures that I cannot identify. My friend purchased these in Florida. They were in front of a hotel that was being torn down. The owner of the hotel told my friend that he had them imported from overseas in the 60s. There was mention that these were sculptures of the Kings daughters?? No idea but I'd like to have more information.
