This representation of the Prince discovering Sleeping Beauty has been in our family for at least three generations. However, we do not know exactly what it is.
The area behind the Sleeping Beauty scene is large enough to hold a folded newspaper or several magazines. Is that its purpose? We do not know.
One of the photos shows the potter's mark on the bottom, which appears to be a very ornate "G," "&" and maybe an "H"? Really not clear enough to read with accuracy, but there's clearly an upside down crescent above the letters.
