Hello...trying to identify a sideboard that was let to me. I also have buffet and table but this sideboard does not seem to match the fit as being the same. Im sure its is from early 1900s but too San victorian or jacobean I would like to know. Cant find any tabs or labels left on furniture. Well crafted and sturdy oak is what i was told. I think mahogany though. Thanks for your help.
An Piece that could be from Guiseppe Armani, but I don't know how to verify that. So I want to know if its really form him and not a replica, and what it's worth. I got it from an old house that someone bought, together with other valuable antique. So I wouldn't be surprised if its real. It has a certificato di garanzia, with art n.: 499 and controllo n.:8. On the back it has a mark with black marker, it seems. On the side are the letters g. a. engraved and on the bottom is a badge with made in italy taped. The badge and mark could maybe be added later.
