Antique Buffet Table w/Mirror

Category
Home Furnishings
Condition
Excellent
Description

This Buffet Table was left in our basement when we purchased our home last year.  We have looked for a manufacturers stamp inside the drawers/cabinets as well as the back, but there is nothing there.  I am guessing this piece is from the early to mid 1900's but would really appreciate any insight you could share with me.  It is in excellent condition, just needs a simple dusting since it's been sitting for a very very long time.  Everything opens/closes with ease and appears to be original.  I am very sorry I do not have more information, I do not know the history of this piece as I did not personally know the previous owner.

Beautiful Antique Desk

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Hello!  I'm submitting this for a friend.  It is a beautiful desk that was handed down from her parents.  She doesn't know much about it, except that her dad said it was very old.  The pictures I have are going to be the only real clues as to it's origin, as I'm unable to locate any writing on the piece except for the number G4472 stamped onto the right rear upright.  it also has metal glides for the bottom of the drawers to slide on. There is a name stamped on the metal glides that starts with "Ap..." The back is solid wood and held on with screws.

Help needed to identify my porcelain

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Good
Description

I have two pieces of porcelain that were just recently given to me by my mum. The belonged to my aunties partner who was a keen collector of fine antiques. I have tried to find out about them but I'm no expert! On the back of both is the number 441. One of them has two small dots under the 1 and seems to be more brightly coloured than the other one. The pictures are printed on I think. This is due to them being made up of many small dots. There is crackling all over the glaze and I think that the edges are guilded.

I hope that the information and images is enough for someone to tell me who made them and when. I'm not looking for a valuation as I know this is not possible without seeing them, but any ball park figures would be greatfully recieved together with any info.

Many thanks in advance for your time to help.
