King William crossing the Boyne

Category
Paintings
Condition
Fair
Description

A watercolour by A.H . Hider, signed bottom right corner. Painted on paper , framed and cut to size.Small humidity damage along sides . Possibly a gift to someone, stored badly but hidden from sunlight and everything else since at LEAST 1934. a beautiful copy of King William at the battle of the Boyne on his white horse. 19" wide 26" high.

I would like a general idea of it's value and should I try to have it restored?

tycoon

Category
Autographs
Condition
Excellent
Description

I found this framed picture in my grandfather house called the tycoon it is signed by (evi)emmet kelly in the bottom left cover and Leighton-Jones in the right. I looked up the picture online and they had ones that just had Leighton signature with a number in the left conner also they were around "12" inches big. The picture i have in about 28x20 inches and the frame 29.5x34.5. Also my picture has a signature on the painting as well as one on the frame paper of Leighton right under each other.

Turner wall accessory mirror

Category
Home Furnishings
Condition
Good
Description

I don't know anything about this mirror that you cannot see in the pictures. However this mirror is a turner wall accessory with the #4373 stamped on it. I think it says made in the USA but its worn off. The back of the mirror is covered in paper as you can see in the picture so it is really hard to tell what the frame is made of.  the frame is gold in color and seems to be made of wood or something that similar. i say that because if you notice in one of the pictures it looks like nails are used to hold the frame together. I could be %100 wrong about the frame material because I know nothing about the possibilities of what it could be. I imagine it would be ridiculously difficult to make a frame so ornate and symmetrical out of wood. Please view the pictures, anyone who is versed in aged items will know more than I do.

The reason I am wanting an appraisal is because I want to use the mirror but the color isn't my taste so i would like to change it. In order to do that I ould have to cut the paper on the back. I don't want to do anything to it if it is of value. This mirror would not be for sale, but I would like to know what it is worth, what year it is from, and anything else I can learn about it.

Condition
Good
Description

This is an oil painting. It looks like it is at least 40 years old, maybe older. The name in the bottom right is Benoit (or Bennett?). I am sure it is the same artist as this painting I found on this site: (http://instappraisal.com/antique-appraisal/oil-painting-street-scene-si…)

The painting looks like a french scene. The colors are very muted. Large paint globs.

In doing research, it looks like this is probably a mass produced Caoline Burnett painting. The signature is not capitalized. I have not inspected the canvas edges. That being said, I believe this painting, though pretty, is probably only worth about $20. I would love another opinion.
