I bought this sugar bowl in a bazar this week, the information that has in the bottom is the following: marmara sini by: Huseyin KAYA Kutahya and the number 16, also has a sticker from a store located in Bursa (Bursa is on Turkey).
Good condition, minor scratches, sturdy. Dark wood, possibly oak. Top section of table lifts up and back to reveal a desk area. Bottom portion of antique table pulls out to increase desk area and there are sections inside the table that resemble a secretary. I'm not sure what this piece is called. Someone once told me it was a "piano table". I purchased it about 15 years ago in an antique store. There is a metal plate on the inside of the long center drawer that is stamped with "Rich-Tex Home Furnishings" "O.W. Richardson & Co. Chicago". I have no idea how old it is or what it is really.
Size is 40"Lx32"Hx21"d
This could be an antique secretary or antique bedside table or antique desk.
Thank you so much for your time & consideration of my table.
