Bowl made by Royal Bavaria. 10ā diameter x 7ā height. Handles on the sides. Hand painted by my great grandmother and signed in 1920. Gold painted rim. No chips or blemishes.
I do not know alot about the piece,artist. Louis Rhead.ive searched everywhere and can't find any like it.I have found the paintings also posters he did but nothing on mirror.there is a tag on frame back it is a dealer tag from Chr.VanDamm in Holland.but some of it is missing .a partial set of numbers on tag also.I couldn't get alot of information from them .there is some aging on the top of the mirror.i was told it was how mirrors that were made with mercury age.(but not sure)
Oak cabinet with 3 drawers and 2 cabinets. There are working locks on the drawers and I have a key. There are old wood wheels on the legs. I have 3 of the original drawer pulls and 2 original knobs. I would try to locate a match for the pulls and use the original hardware, but not unless the value of the piece is worth it.
This tureen is number 1014/Ro. There is a tiny, almost unnoticeable chip on one of the yellow flowers. I am trying to see if there is a way to get it authenticated and valued. Thank you for your help!
