A Henry Matier cambric linen handkerchief box with two handkerchiefs from 1867.  Front shows a angel and medals the company won.  The inside has two womens portraits on each side.  A purple string allows you to open the space which contains a handkerchief in each one.  Supposed to have 1 dozen mens handkerchiefs as on box.  Back has a stamp "registered for great britain, 12th september 1867.  Letters patent granted for United States 9th June 1868.  "Superior quality linen cambric HKFs ready for use 5/8 wide and "No. 44" written in pencil.

Design is three dimension (raised) and painted in soft colours

stamp is impressed on the bottom of the teapot and also a smaller stamp inside the lid of the pot

The item was amongst my grandparents belongings when we came to clear out the house. This is as much as i know about it as it was never on display in the home.

Unfortuanatly I do not know anything about this item other then it is possibly a coal holder.

this item is about 6-7 inches in length.  The stone is possibly a form of jade, although it is difficult to confirm.  It also appears to have a brownish gold glaze handpainted on the toads.  It is hand carved, and the detail is impressive.  the only marking is the number 22 scratched on the bottom of the lily pad, possibly a lot number from a previous auction?
