Hi - I am trying to get a ballpark value of a bed I purchased. It has a tag on the foot rails that reads Northern Furniture company made in Sheboygan. I can't find any beds that are for sale that are similar or any at all. The bed is in really good shape. The wood was dry, but I oiled it and it looks great. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Only identifying mark is Hedco Inc. stamped under the bottom stand. This is at least 50 years old. I would like to find more information and a value on it as I am interested in selling it. Thank you.
I found this piece in a Goodwill store and thought I may be able to turn a small profit on it. I really don't know much about Seymour Mann stuff, but I have heard the name many times. It's a bisque porcelain figurine/music box, featuring two children building a snowman and putting the pipe in his mouth. The music box plays "White Christmas" and is in 100% working order. The piece has been really well taken care of, apparently left in a box for quite some time. There is no visible damage to the paint on the piece and no signs of physical damage, either. It is stamped on the bottom copyright MANN 1982. The box is in pretty good condition and is marked XMAS-246T. I have been able to find literally zero information about this piece online and there are none like it listen on eBay. Other Seymour Mann Christmas music boxes go anywhere from $10 to $50 on eBay. Any information I could get would incredibly helpful in helping me possibly sell this piece.
I do not have any information accept for the photos? I am considering purchasing this from a woman who bought these pieces from a elderly couple at a antique auction. I did ask if there was a mark anywhere and she looked underneath and no markings. Any info you could give me would help. I am new to antiques.
