I have this beautiful vase, but with no markings, I have no idea who made it, when, or any of the other interesting details that I believe it may have.
I have a small floral pitcher stamped Royal Ironstone China Warranted. I am not sure when/where it was made. I am not sure how old it is. The only info I have been able to find out via the internet is the stamp on the bottom may be between 1890 and 1940, but I am not 100% positive. I have pictures of the pitcher if anyone can assist in just providing some history.
Walnut console hifi with radio and garrand AT6 turntable. It was made by the Fleetwood co. Of Montreal, model 4089 serial number 401. I can find very little info about the company other than it appears that it made tv's and stereos in the 1950's. the console works, has a top open and the speakers are detailed with walnut lattice work. I have found a few other models online, but none like this one. Anyone familiar with this stereo?
Brass Telescope/spyglass. No manufacturer showing. Only stamped numbers/letters and symbols - photo attached. If photo is not clear the markings are as follows:
an arrow pointing up, below that is M.1663, below that is SIG. may be SIC. but looks more like a G
All brass, leather casing is in pretty rough shape with a cap for each end. You can see discoloration in leather of the body where there were loops for straps. Loop still on one of the caps.
If you unscrew the eye piece there is another arrow stamped - this is the only other marking.
Glass is all in good shape.
I have been carrying this around since I found it in a storage unit about 22 years ago. Have never found anyone that can tell me anything about the markings. Would love to know its history.
