Table and cabinet was purchased over 25 years ago by my inlaws - we are not sure if its an antique yet or just older furniture - we want to get an idea if worth anything.
This looks to be old wood. It comes apart at the base cross bar.....by removing side pieces......and probably at top by turning the diamond knobs. Well worn notches on both sides of end where I assume a rope or twine was uses to rock the cradle? Bolt knobs look old and seems to have been hand crafted. What type of wood? Aprox how old? Is it worth anything? THANKS MUCH!
I don't know a lot about this furniture. It is two pieces the chest of drawers and a dresser that once had a mirror which is no longer there. Inside the drawers are metal stamps that say Williamsport Furniture Company, Williamsport, PA and on the back the numbers 764 1066 are pressed in it. In the bottom of the dresser is two doors that open and inside is a shoes rack (Picture included). I also included a picture of the back of the chest of drawers, the numbers I mentioned ,764 1066, are on the top left corner. I am not sure of the date period.
