antique chest

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

This was given to me by my mother in law. I don't know if it has any value.  All that my mother in law knows is that it was owned by her great grandmother. There are no marks on it to say who made it. It may have been made by a relative, we don't know.  I would like to know if there is any value to this chest as I am about to throw the stinky old thing out.

Meerschaum Pipe with Jumping Horse

Category
Tobacciana
Condition
Excellent
Description

Pop was an appraiser and left a collection of random treasures when he passed away. We found old revolvers in makeup bags and all kinds of stuff! Sadly, he left Nana without too much else. I'm trying to help her sell some items to cover the mortgage. Any help is very much appreciated!

This pipe appears to be in good condition. I don't know much about these pipes but from what I can tell, it is in the original case and doesn't appear to have any damage. I did some searches of sold items on ebay but could not find this same pipe. There are similar ones that feature horses but the horse appears to be much smaller (this is the closest I could find: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-19th-C-Carved-Horse-Meerschaum-Pipe-Cas…).

Any insight or resources would be helpful and offers will be passed along to Nana. Thank you.

This chenille bedspread is authentic with all original tags still attached and never used.  There area a few small marks on it from storage but I didn't want to wash it for fear of decreasing the value.

Size is: 96"x92"

This is a very nice piece.

qaurter sawn oak hospital bed table

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

The site wont let me upload pics, but i will email on request. This is the type of table used in a hospital, the bottom slides under the bed, so the top goes over the bed to use as dinner tray. Top tilts, is quarter sawn oak, has a few visible scratches. Legs and post are cast iron. I was told by a gentleman that it was turn of the century period, but he had no exact date. I can find no type of makers mark on wood or iron. Any idea how much I can ask for this?
