This is an old wooden bed from my grandmother's time. (British in India times)
I think the wood is 'sheesham or Indian redwood'.
Size : 6feet long by 3ft wide
It has 2 main high headboards with ceramic tiles; 2 main side support beams; 9 wooden base supports of 6 inches by 3 feet long.; a large wooden frame(about 6ft by 3ft) that attaches on top of the headboards- no pic of that as it is still in aunt;s home.
Ceramic tiles have some floral design. 1 is cracked and moves in the frame around it. (See zoomed pics of it).
Any information about this bed will be appreciated.
The bracelet has 2 rows of 25 rhinestones, in aurora borealis finish, on the inside and a row of 9 frosted glass marquis-shaped stones on each (out)side with a fold-over clasp. The marquis stones are open-backed dog-tooth settings (with 14 prongs), while the back of the rhinestones are solid. The gold (?)has some uneveness where the outside and inside rows are held together. The research shows that this is called a 'figure 8'..kind of an extra blob of metal.
I have a Salanti Accordion. I have seen from another post that the accordion COULD possibily be from 1920. The thing that interests me the most is the seller symbol on the back of this accordion. It states "B and J New York" (see picture for further details). Buegeleisen & Jacobson (B&J) of New York City is who sold this instrument. The accordion is in mint condition, it plays very well and is loud & vibrant. Please give me any thoughts. Thank You
