These are a set of three colored military engravings depicting the Napoleonic war. The print size is 11x7 the framed size is 21x18. They are of the Battle of Waterloo, the death of the Duke of Brunswick, and the third is unknown. The frames are original as best I know and are of wood with a foil type paper. You can see them in one pic.
An extremely heavy antique Pedestal Desk with locking drawers. Long-shaped center drawer flanked by a bank of 3 drawers on either side (one on left is a faux double drawer that acts as a file cabinet) and brass handles. Made by hand (dove-tailed). Does NOT have a leather top. The veneer is a Reverse Diamond Match and/or Butt & Book Matched, I think.
The desk is in fairly good shape but sustained some water damage on the top and we need an appraisal for insurance purposes.
This appraisal could be for replacement, repair or restoration, please. We actually love it and want to repair and possibly restore it, anyway. Thanks.
