Painting purchased from a seller in Ft. Scott, KS. There is a signature at the bottom left corner that looks like a B____ C____. I do not know anything else about the painting.
I understand this was taken during ww11, and was found in the center of a town inclosed in a glass case. At one time someone said they thought if was written in Prussian.

This item is so interesting. It is a Spanish tapestry, with soldiers on horses, and cames; women here and there in it. It is in very nice condition. The back of the wooden frame is a piece of wood that is very aged. I have no other info on it. I bought it at a junk shop about five years ago.
The table came from my grandfather who lived in Duluth MN. I have no idea where it came from. He passed about 48 years ago. It went from my mother to me. I am 58 and I remember mom telling me that grandpa used to hide his money in the base,
Mom passed away 10 years ago Sept 9 and we were never able to find out anything about it. In her memory I would like to find out anything I can about the piece and its value for insurance purposes.
Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
