This is a very large Japanese or Chinese jug with a lid and a stand. The piece appears to be porcelain with hand painted scenes of Asian family gatherings. This piece is in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks. The item is located near Denver, CO and available for inspection or pick up. Buyer is responsible for pick up and all transportation.
I've looked for information about these vases and the only matches i found was with the Qianlong Dynasty but the marks are not exact. That is what raises the ? in my mind. They appear to be hand painted.
This is a round brass flask that is 3 3/4 inches x 2 inches, the spout is another inch, the total size is 4 3/4 inches high. Both front and back have an armored knight on a horse with several decorative borders including a border that is raised around the perimeter. The flask has feet on the bottom to stand it up. There are what appears to be a coat of arms on either side, the flask has a chain to hang it from. There is also a chain attached to the stopper.
