I purchased this at the estate of a very wealthy collector, many of his items were very valuable, this piece was overlooked and i got it after most collectors left, no idea of the value, any guidance would be appreciated!
1880's USS Quinnebaug Journal handwritten by naval architect J. J. Woodward. Includes many handwritten drawings and a picture of him in original frame.
I have an old red wagon that is similar to a Radio Flyer wagon. I plan to refinish it just to make it look good and fresh again. I cannot find any information about it, it has Wobbly Wagon painted in white on the side and it looks fairly old. Just wondering what it could be worth, if anything.
This is a very old large framed print and has white over -painted on it to highlight. This has very dark aged brown brittle original paper on the back with a very old label that says E.J.S MFG Co. and then Handel.
On the lower left corner it says Copyright by Stehli Bros.Zurich.The lower right is signed V De Paderes.below that it says Published in U.S.A. by E.J.Schwabe MFG. Co. By Special Arrangment.
Frame is in excellent condition and is decorated at the top with flowers in a swag and with a big gold bow..
The sofa and chairs are all in good/excellent condition. Some of the paint appears to be wearing/flaking in certain areas of high wear, but the furniture is whole. The upholstery is highly textured and there is noticable difference in the shade between the front and back of the furniture. The floral carvings along the feet, arms, and backs of the chairs and sofa are similar, but not identical and have different characteristics each. All tacks are in place with regard to the upholstery and there are no tears, cuts, frays.
