Drexel "New Travis Court Collection" Table

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Acquired a heavy wooden table, of high quality for an incredibly low price. Upon Inspection the dating, brand, and collection name were all stamped on the underside of the table. The chairs also have identification codes stamped on them, so it occurred to me that some expert consultation was needed...

Capodimonte 5 Cheaters

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Mint
Description

Figurine of five boys playing cards.  Four cheaters with one boy observing.  Cannot find any reference to this item.

It was handed down to a friend from her mother who bought it from a dealer.  The dealer claimed it was "old" but was not very specific.  She desperately wants to sell it and has been getting a lot of uneducated advice from clueless friends and family,, and I'm afraid she'll sell it for far less than it's worth.

I'd just like to get a starting point, some reference as to whether it's genuine, a knockoff or something else.

Nippon Hand Painted Moriage Pitcher Ewer

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Good
Description

Lovely ewer has a creamy white base hand painted with pale yellow, rich aqua blue-green and pink roses and is decorated with a fancy gilded moriage pattern.

Blue Maple Leaf backstamp with "Nippon" and "Hand Painted" in English cursive. Circa 1890's. No visible cracks, chips or crazings. Some of the gilding looks faded or rubbed here or there, but otherwise this beautiful piece is in good condition
