3 pc etched glass I believe it to be a mantle mirror. Fancy wood frame. Very nice condition. According to the stamp on the back it was manufactured at C.C. Belknap Glass Co. Sep 16, 1926. One family ownership. This belonged to my husband's grandmother.
Came across this antique 4 door 3 drawer Solid Oak buffet sideboard.
I would like to learn more about the piece before I restore or upcycle it. What period is this from? What kind of finishing is on this item? Is this varnish, oil, wax? What would be the best way to clean, restore?
I am looking for an appraisal for a Drexel bedroom set belonging to my grandparents that I believe dates back to the early 1900's. The pieces include a double bed with headboard, footboard and side boards, a tall dresser, a shorter dresser with mirror, 2 desk/dressing tables, one chair, and a rocking chair (I believe it may be a nursing chair because it sits low to the ground). There is a second mirror but I cannot recall if it goes on the tall dresser or on the dressing table/desk. The set has never been refinished.
