It's white ceramic with a shiny gloss and says CHANTE CLAIR POUR FRANCE I think on the one side and LE CAULOIS on the other side. The colors painted on the rooster have striations and are definitely hand painted.
We have this old looking Horse Lamp. Just wondering if its worth anything... The only info that i can find on it is on the bottom it say 171 No Holes. Really don't have much info on it.
My great aunt obtained this ceramic bowl of fruit during her singing career through the 30s, 40s and 50s. We believe she obtained it in New York toward the end of her career. I believe the piece is ceramic, weighs 8 pounds and stands 20 inches. Hand printed under the glaize on the bottom is Made in Italy for Lord and Taylor 11/13. There are two manufacturing marks as well. (see attached photos)
