I am trying to get some more info on these mirrors. I believe they are art deco. They were given to my mother 50+ years ago. They are heavy with wood frames. The inset is a black material maybe onyx with gold. Any info on these mirrors will be greatly appreciated, thanks so much:)
4 burner, gas Magic Chef oven made by the American Stove Company. It was working when I took it out of a house in 1990. two knobs are missing on the left side and the interior needs to be cleaned. I have no idea how old this is or a value. I have enclosed photos showing the only nameplates I could find on this oven.
I'm really interested about anymore info I can get on him. I've been looking for years! I would really like to know if he has a name and if he may be worth anything? He doesn't have a hat...
I am hoping someone can help with this little box. The lid is the colour of pewter or possibly spelter. The two birds are in relief, the inside of the box lid is pushed out but the other details seem to be cast somehow. The edges are covered in a millegrain effect for the background then foliage seems to be cast, It is really attractive. The base of the box is coppered as is the interior. The edges of the base of the box are mostly coppered. The rim of the top is partly coppered. On the base there is a couple of places where the copper is missing and it appears to be very dark metal with tiny holes, almost like volcanic rock does. We are keen to find out as much as we can as it is such a lovely little thing. At first glance it doesnt look much but the closer we look the better it looks.
