That is a link to ten pictures. Some are good and some are not. Any information on this piece is appreciated. The name 'Boutry' is engraved at the base. The picture is not so good on that though.
As far as I know, this item belonged to my Great Grandmother who acquired it sometime around 1915. The mark on the bottom of the teapot is in Chinese, I believe. I cannot read it and I only say Chinese because that's what I was told by family.
Item was found at an estate sale in the Chicago area. It was priced at $500 at the sale and was purchased for $225. I've only been able to find one other item that matches this and it was an auction on ebay that did not sell listed with a buy it now price of $765. Although the ebay listing provided no information on the item. The only real source of information I have is in the picture of the Statement of Authenticity.
Any info on this item would be helpful. Original retail? Current retail? Fair market value? Anything...I am coming up blank on finding information on this.
THESE PLAQUES BELONGED TO MY GREAT GRAND MOTHER AND I WAS TOLD SHE GOT THEM AT THE 1904 WORLDS FAIR IN ST LOUIS WHEN THEY WENT THERE ON THEIR HONEYMOON
