Small Sled made by Paris MFG Co.

Category
Antique Toys
Condition
Good
Description

I found this sled at an estate auction and have not been able to find any information on it. The main reason I liked it so much was because besides the manufacturer printed on the bottom, it has the name of a local store that had been closed for years. Its a small sled 29" long, wood seat with metal runners. The seat has a red design on it with the words Snow Bird. On the bottom it's mark Made by Paris MFG CO South Paris, ME, USA No. 96. It also has Newberry Co. Gouverneur, NY stamped on it. Its in good condition and still has some red paint on the runners.

Bassett Furniture Dresser (Guessing 50s or 60s

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

This piece was given to me by my mother and it was given to her by her grandmother. It has been in our family for a very long time and I began to wonder its origin/value etc.

I know it is a Bassett piece, I called them and sent them some pictures but they couldnt tell me any information. Evidently during the 1960s there was a flood that damaged all of the documents they had prior to the flood.

This piece is in fair condition, it has a some nics and scratches but over all it is still in great shape. The piece is about 55" wide 40" Tall and 36" Deep.

I will place some pictures below so you can tell me what you think.

This piece also has a large mirror that is in great shape that I dont have pictures of.

Thanks for the help

Metal/possible industrial steel Chest of Drawers, Head and foot board

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I purchased this chest and bed at an estate sale. The set was purchsed by the owners when they were first married and she was in her 80's when she passed. The set is in good condition has normal use wear on the paint. It is a faux brown/wood grain finish. I have only found one exactly like it on line and it is listed as vintage for $3,200, it is described as Mid century industrial metal chest of drawers and it is listed as steel for materials. We have compared the picture of that item to ours and they appear to be exactly the same except color... highth 44 1/2" depth 18" width 30". I have actually called the Turk furniture Co Corp. office trying to get someone to tell me if these items were from their company and thier history as they date back I believe before 1900. I believe these items are at least 60 years plus old.
