I do not know the history of this item, except that it was my mother's table. I believe it is light mahogany. I may be interested in selling it, but I am not sure.
The light bulb sockets have "P & S PATENTED" stamped into them. I'm not sure what kind of material it is made from. It is open at the base. Both lights used to work, but it has not been used for a while and only one would work when I tried it. It does have some chips in the colored parts, and you can see some wavy lines in the etching in the metal parts. It is topped with a red ball. I'm not sure what it is made of, but it is not attached, only held in place by the ears.
it is like an erector set. It has light electrical, and mechanical parts to create different things. There are a lot of small metal roll pins, clips, and other small aprts. Most of the bigger parts are of a clear plastic. It is housed in a wooden box, with a slide-off lid.
Isaly's, a delicatessen/ice cream shop in north eastern Ohio. It was popular from the 1950's into the 1990's. This deck of promotional cards is from the owner's son from the North Jackson shop.I can not find a maker of the cards. They are shrink- wrapped, never opened. The outer window box has some wear from age, and not being stored properly, but looks great. Isaly's was known around the Youngstown, Ohio area. It was an early chain type store.
