Purchased from Tokyo, Japan circa. 1989. "Classic" landscape scene. Black and White.
The visible parts of the screen are in great condition for it's age. Dark brown wooden frame is still glossy. "Brass" decorative fittings are bright. The back of the screen is almost perfect, and there are no rips to the backing.
Screen is fairly large measuring 66" x 36" and is about 0.75" thick. The surface is not paper. I was told at the time it is painted on Gold Leaf.
8 of the following- cups and saucers, small plates, dinner plates, desert dishes, bowls, and desert plates. 1 gravy boat, 1 cream server, 1 sugar bowl w/ lid, 1 platter, and 3 oval serving bowls progressively bigger in size. The pattern at the time was listed as star burst.
